Aquascapes

Water, with its symbolic and elemental significance, served as the core inspiration for these cyanotype collages on paper. By choosing the traditional photographic cyanotype technique and the circle as a basis for the composition, I searched for the
most elemental way to express myself.

Central to this series is the arrangements with circles that form the second layer. These circles, all cut and assembled by hand; they form waves, dance through the positive and the negative or simply reveal another layer underneath. They represent the ripples that come from a single droplet of water, echoing expansion, movement and the ever-changing nature of life.
